Mercedes discovered her passion for design through a school project at the age of 14! She was inspired to design and make a selection of assorted handbags and was blown away from the feedback she received from her teacher that she decided to test the waters with selling them through local shops and fairs with great success. Before long she was taking orders for her bags… the Mercedes Louise® label was born!

Her youthful charm and enormous maturity that she displays at such a young age has set Mercedes apart from her contemporaries…. “It has changed my life in a way that I know what I want to do when I leave school and I feel fortunate as many of my friends still haven’t found their
