It has been awhile since I participated in a Tablescape Thursday or Pink Saturday. We have been on a family holiday to Norfolk Island; you can catch some photos of this beautiful place in my previous blog post on my website.

I need quiet spots in our house just to sit and read with a cup of tea, to contemplate and find inspiration for my designs.

This chair and table are one of my favourite pondering places. As the weather is so hot here at the moment it can be very unpleasant outdoors during the day. Only in the early evening it is perfect to sit outside and catch the cool breeze.
As I am posting this for Pink Saturday as well I couldn’t resist showing my new bag design that fits perfectly with the pinks. This leather bag has become my new favourite bag as it carries so much and is so comfortable to wear.

Mum and I have a passion for these cups with the extended saucer, I think they are referred to as tennis cups. Perhaps someone can tell me the correct name.

Don’t you love the tiny biscuits? Mum found them one day when out shopping, but sorry she can’t remember where for me to pass on the information.

This one is so cute with the bird in flight inside the cup.

Mum found the teapot at Caterbury Lace located at Warringah Mall in Sydney.
Now the table is set and the tea made, it’s time for me to sit and savour the moment while I work on a new design; perhaps I will just sneak a moment to flip the pages of the magazines.

How lovely and serene. Just a perfect place to meditate or be inspired.
Youe pink purse is beautiful. I believe the cup and saucers are referred to as a ‘tea & toast’ set.
This is beautiful and sweet! I got a little nervous with that beautiful teapot so close to the edge of the table. This looks like a perfect combination for browsing a lovely magizine.
Everyone should have “their place.”
Happy Pink Saturday!

What a wonderful Pink Saturday post! I just ♥ the fact that each of us shares such a variety of items - that’s one reason why this event is never boring. Always something fun, new, lovely or interesting around the corner.
Thanks for sharing a part of yourself today☺ Cold, gloomy day today but, as always, bright and sunny on the Pink Saturday blogs.
♫Wishing you sunshine and happiness this weekend!♫
Your teas set is just beautiful! But that precious teapot is sitting so close to the edge it makes me nervous!

Hello! LOVELY pink today! I’m coming to Sydney in March and we’ll have lots of time to look around and I can’t wait! Last time I came, I was tired from buzzing around Asia and didn’t have any vision for poking around shops. This time: fish and chips, yarn, and maybe a pretty pink extended saucer with a lovely cup like yours - yes, with a bird in flight, too! Hello from freezy Denver! Happy Pink!
I love all the tea cups! It would be so much fun to just sit and have a cup of tea and a good chat! What a great way to spend an afternoon! Thank You for sharing your Pinks!
Happy Pink Saturday!
Have A Great Day!

Love all the pinks - that teapot is just so sweet! Happy Pink Saturday!
Your pinks are just gorgeous.. I love your cups, the saucers and the pretty teapot…and I really love the spot you’ve chosen for the “you” time. Everything is set so as to be restful and serene. Enjoy it.. and Happy Pink Saturday, have a great week.
Ooo, I love the pink and gold-rimmed tea cup and saucer. I’m sorry I don’t know what those plates are called. Tea pot is pretty, too…a little too close to the edge of the table–makes me nervous
Enjoy your tea and magazine. Happy Pink Saturday~
